“Why not just do it myself with ChatGPT?”

You can. Plenty of people try. Here is what actually happens.

A chat window writes about two thousand good words at a time. A novel is forty to ninety thousand. Somewhere around chapter four it forgets your protagonist’s sister’s name, changes the colour of the house, resolves a subplot it already resolved, and drifts into a voice that is not the one you started in. You will not notice, because you are the one prompting. Your readers notice in chapter nine, and they say so in the reviews.

So the real cost was never twenty dollars. It is the sixty to a hundred and twenty hours you spend prompting, stitching, re-reading, catching continuity breaks, repairing the seams, formatting the manuscript, wrestling the epub and trying to make a cover that does not look homemade. That is a part-time job for two months, and at the end of it you have a document nobody but you has read.

What you are paying for here is not access to a model. It is a finished book. Continuity held across every chapter. A line-level polish pass on every page. Every manuscript goes through a line-level polish pass for rhythm, voice and pacing, the things that make machine-written prose obvious. Then you get a 5-day review window: if any of it doesn’t sound like a book you’d be happy to put your name on, tell us and we rewrite and re-deliver it, at no cost, until it does.

Completely. You own 100% of your finished book, every word, to publish, sell and profit from however you like. Your name goes on it, not ours.

Delivery scales with length, around 16 days for a 40,000-word book, ~28 days for 80,000. Priority roughly halves that. You always see the date before you pay.

Every book comes with a 5-day review window after delivery, and the window restarts each time we re-deliver. Changes to the cover, the subtitle or the keywords are unlimited. Re-writing the book itself is a bigger job, so two of those are included. Ask for more and we will look at it and tell you straight whether we can absorb it.

Tell us inside your 5-day review window and we fix it, a chapter, the ending, the voice, the cover, and re-deliver. Every change resets the window to a fresh 5 days, so you are never rushed into accepting something you are not happy with. On money: you can cancel for a full refund within 48 hours of ordering, before writing starts. After that we do not offer cash refunds, because a book written for one person cannot be resold, and instead we keep working until it is right. And if we miss the delivery date we showed you by more than seven days, you can cancel and we refund every penny.
