Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Ghostwritten (ghostwrittenbook.com) and any book you commission. By placing an order you agree to them.

The service

We write an original, full-length manuscript to your brief and deliver it as a formatted .docx and .epub with a cover, blurb and keywords. Delivery timelines are shown before payment and begin after your 48-hour adjustment window closes.

Ownership & rights

On full payment, you own all rights to the finished book — it is yours to publish, sell and profit from under your own name. We claim no royalties and take no credit.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the ideas and materials you provide are yours to use and do not infringe anyone else’s rights. You are responsible for how you publish and sell the finished work.

Revisions

Each order includes a 5-day review window after delivery, during which you may request corrections and we will re-deliver. Requests outside that window may be quoted as additional work.

Payment & refunds

Orders are priced at $25.99 per 1,000 words, with optional priority and series pricing shown at checkout, and are paid up front via Stripe. Because each book is bespoke work created for you, orders are generally non-refundable once writing has begun; if something has gone wrong, contact us and we will make it right.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above will change. Continued use of the service means you accept the current terms.
