Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
Ghostwritten (“we”, “us”) operates ghostwrittenbook.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Your project and your writing are treated as confidential.
What we collect
- Account details — your name and email when you create an account.
- Your commission — the brief, notes, and messages you provide so we can write your book.
- Payment — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we keep only a payment reference and the amount.
- Usage — basic technical data (device, pages viewed) to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
To create and deliver your book, to communicate with you about your order, to process payment, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we never share or resell your manuscript.
Confidentiality
Your idea and finished manuscript are private to you. You own full rights to the completed work. Access to your project is restricted to the team working on it.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers needed to run the studio — for example Stripe (payments) and Supabase (secure data hosting) — and only as required to deliver your order. We may disclose information if legally required to.
Data retention & your rights
We keep your order records for as long as your account is active or as needed for legal and accounting purposes. You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
